Bright Kids...and what they are saying about the resources they use

Building Thinking Skills, Level II

This gets me ready for math.  It helps me to focus.  It gets my mind off other things so that I can focus on the next subject I am going to study.  (submitted by Matthew, MN)

Math Blockout (software)

I love Math Blockout because it is hard.  I can play it with friends or against the computer.  It's about getting the most points.  It teaches me how to make math equations to make the number I need to block out.  It helps me practice my math calculations. (submitted by Matthew, MN)

Mind Benders

I just love the Mind Benders book. I did two problems in November. Yesterday I started on problem 3 and I couldn’t stop doing it! I ended up finishing the last problem today and I can’t wait to start the next Mind Benders Book. (submitted by Lindsey, MN)

I liked my homework last night (Mind Benders).  It was fun! It teases your mind! (submitted by Matthew, MN)

Revenge of the Math Spiders

I'm 9 years old and my favorite computer game is Math Spiders. I like it because it is fun. It's fun because all these different spiders chase you through mazes and challenge you with Math questions. If you get the question wrong the spiders leave a web and you can't go through that,  Then you have to do more questions to go around the webs. And sometimes the spiders leave multiple webs and I don't like this because then they can get me. But really it makes it exciting and definitely makes math much more interesting. I never thought I would want to solve my math questions so quickly. My favorite subject is math and this makes math a lot more interesting. I wish I could do Math Spiders every day and this would count as my "school" math. (submitted by MJ, MN)

Send your child's personally written review of any resource your child uses.  When we publish it we'll send him/her a new  'Quick Fun' book.
