Arizona Instrument to Measure Standards (AIMS)
The AIMS, the Arizona state standards-based test,
is designed to measure students' progress toward achieving
Arizona's standards in mathematics, reading and writing. Arizona standards are detailed on the
Arizona Department of Education Web site.
The AIMS is administered in the Spring for grades 3-8 and 10th.
Arizona Students are also administered the Terra Nova in combination with the AIMS, referred to as the AIMS/DPA (AIMS/Dual Process Assessment).
